Sorry for not following this thread closely.
But from what I read, I thought it might be better to have a _command_
to sort existing lists alphabetically?
That way, there is nothing that has to be "turned on" globally, that
could intefere with Org mode's syntax.
Excuse me, if that's of topic or already discussed.
