I checked:

| org-plain-list-ordered-item-terminator is a variable defined in
‘org-list.el’.
| Its value is 46

but still I don't get and empty line after one list item in vanilla
org, (while I get this in orgalist.)



org-list-allow-alphabetical:

But still I cannot cycle from 1. to a.
