thanks for the fast response.

I checked:

,----
| org-plain-list-ordered-item-terminator is a variable defined in =E2=80=98= org-list.el=E2=80=99.
| Its value is 46
`----

but still I don't get and empty line after one list item in vanilla
org, (while I get this in orgalist.)

org-list-allow-alphabetical:

,----
| org-list-allow-alphabetical is a variable defined in =E2=80=98org-list.el= =E2=80=99.
| Its value is t
| Original value was nil
| Local in buffer new.txt; global value is nil
`----

But still I cannot cycle from 1. to a.

Sorry.

See `org-blank-before-new-entry'.

>=C2=A0 =C2=A0 2. Make org-cycle-list-bullet more similar to
>=C2=A0 =C2=A0 =C2=A0 =C2=A0orgalist-cycle-bullet: especially I liked >=C2=A0 =C2=A0 =C2=A0 =C2=A0=E2=80=98-=E2=80=99=C2=A0 ->=C2=A0 =E2=80= =98+=E2=80=99=C2=A0 ->=C2=A0 =E2=80=981.=E2=80=99=C2=A0 ->=C2=A0 =E2= =80=98a.=E2=80=99

>=C2=A0 =C2=A0 =C2=A0 =C2=A0or is there a variable in org mode to custom= ize the cylcling and
>=C2=A0 =C2=A0 =C2=A0 =C2=A0I did not find it?

See `org-list-allow-alphabetical' and
`org-plain-list-ordered-item-terminator'.

Unfortunately, you cannot remove "*" bullet from vanilla Org.
