Hello fellow Orgers,
I'd like to insert a link (say, at point), given its description and the
text of the link itself, from Elisp code. Is there any function to do
this? I mean, some escaping might be needed, right?

`(insert (org-make-link-string LINK DESCRIPTION))' should do what you
want.
