* How to report typos in the documentation?

If we find a typo, how should it be reported?

For example, in org footnote section:

    …This can be nil, to place footnotes locally at the end of the
    current outline node.  **If** can also be the name of a special
    outline heading under which footnotes should be put.

Fixed on main via a407a89c5.

In future, plase also provide the file and function/variable name you
are referring to.

You can send a patch to the mailing list.

When editing the documentation from within Emacs, `C-x v =' will
create a buffer with the diff that you can simply inline to your
email, that's easier to read for us.
