floating, non scheduled agenda items

What would be the best way to include in my daily agenda a section of
non schedule items which are there every day until I decide to
remove them. e.g Say I have a link to "Guitar practise" which is a regularly
updated url to the page I am at? No specific date, Just something I want
to see on my daily agenda Just tag these types of items with a
special tag and include all items with that tag into the daily agenda?
Possible easily?

Exactly. You can create a custom agenda view that lists all TODO items
with a specific tag in addition to the normal agenda view.
See (info "(org) Custom Agenda Views") for details.

There is a nice customize interface for custom agenda views, accessible
with C-c a C.

I needed to email Jan a little more for him to explain the procedure to
do this as I had not realised immediately that the first INS in the
customised command for the "a" custom trigger included the original
agenda. This detailed reply from Jan sorts me out perfectly - and it is
superb! orgmode++.

Personaly I'd recomend you leaving the default agenda intact and adding
*your* own under 'A'. It's nice to have the *real* defaults at hand from
time to time.

I think this does use the real agenda doesn't it?

The first thing inserted into the "custom" view is "Agenda".

It is indeed, however, you might want to customise the agenda further.

I don't want to modify the base agenda itself - only tag further info on
it. Hence the reuse of a. But yes, if I wanted something totally
different from the agenda it would be better to use a different key..
