* no div/id on named example blocks in html export

I noticed that if I make a block like this:

#+name: methane-smiles
#+BEGIN_EXAMPLE
C
#+END_EXAMPLE

There is no id="methane-smiles" assocated with the pre block in the HTML
export.

The place to add it would be in org-html-example-block I suppose. Is
there any reason not to do that?
