My setup is as follows:
Org-mode version 7.8.08 (release_7.8.03.594.g013d.dirty)
GNU Emacs 24.0.94.1 (x86_64-apple-darwin, NS apple-appkit-1038.36)
of 2012-02-28 on bob.porkrind.org
... and Emacs never crashes - never ever!
I don't use Sweave.
- can you isolate what you do most use in your .emacs (easy if it's written in
Org-babel).
- Revert to 7.7. ~ test
- Revert to 24.0.94.1 (macforosx binary build) ~ test
I use it all the time (mostly Emacs but in and out of Org and Babel constantly) and
it's solid, so it's probably your configuration.
Best, Martyn
