i'm not clear which agenda you're talking about (a custom agenda block
or a daily/weekly agenda. please take a look at following variables,
they may do what you need:
1. org-agenda-skip-scheduled-if-deadline-is-shown
2. org-agenda-skip-scheduled-if-done
3. org-agenda-skip-timestamp-if-done
4. org-agenda-todo-ignore-deadlines
5. org-agenda-todo-ignore-scheduled
6. org-agenda-todo-ignore-with-date
