I do not work for the trello company! I just exploit their public api to make org-mode compatible with it. I use their backend to permit the collaboration between "org-modian" and "trelloans". I do not think (but i did not check) we can install trello locally. I have made some videos (links on the main page) to demonstrate how well it plays. I too would prefer my own server.
