This line is giving t= he error. If I remove this line from my org file, then everything is perfec= t. While I am trying to export pdf including that line, i am getting the er= ror .[undefined reference].

You get this error because Emacs tries to evaluate

=A0 (search "rtcite:" desc)

... and it cannot, because search is not a function.
Search here is a variable (a string), hence
(or search "rtcite:" desc))) should return something
sensible.
