= So it's like merging ivy-actions and a hydra.

This alone made no difference but ...

I didn't know about oc-bibtex-actions; now I do!=C2=A0 So I did this, w= hich
did not work immediately due to some errors; in particular,
=3Dparsebib-parse=3D did not exist as I had an old version installed.

For the record, in the end, I needed to do the following:

=C2=A0 1. set =3Dorg-cite-basic-author-column=3D to a larger number
=C2=A0 2. install =3Dembark=3D
=C2=A0 3. update and load =3Dparsebib=3D
=C2=A0 4. load =3Doc-bibtex-actions=3D
=C2=A0 5. set =3Dorg-cite-insert-processor=3D to =3D'oc-bibtex-actions= =3D

Now =3Dorg-cite-insert=3D works like a charm!=C2=A0 I had been planning on = trying
out embark in due course; now I have no excuse to play with it sooner
than expected.

Thank you both.
