This was an old way to refer to fields in the last row. It was already deprecated in 2011. I also does not seem to work anymore.

I had forgotten all about it and only found it back with

git log -S \$LR --source --all | less

which pointed me to commit 8237c9ae6d587a22646333e0315683675e2db538
