Thanks for telling me this, I didn't k= now before. What's interesting is that it
works for "C-s" = subtree export, but not for active region subtree export. I'm
not su= re if we should expect this to work for active region subtree export, buthere's what's written in the Info file:

=C2=A0 > Normal= ly the entire buffer is exported, but if there is an active region
=C2= =A0 > only that part of the buffer will be exported.

Anyway, glad= that I've got a solution!

You don't need to select a subtree. Just put point in it. Howeve= r, you
are missing the "C-s" in the keybindings, so you're not doing= a subtree
export.
