I'm primarily publishing to LaTeX/PDF from org. I have a title:

#+TITLE: Weekly Status <TODAYS_DATE_HERE>

How can I get it to automatically export with today's date? Hopefully
without a full babel elisp code block? Any ideas?

BTW, converted to new exporter today. Pretty painless.

This appears to work:

#+TITLE: The title {{{modification-time(%Y-%m-%d)}}}

Look in the info manual, (org) Macro replacement.

"date" instead of "modification-time" should work but doesn't for me.

{{{date}}} will only work if #+DATE: is set.

For other users, use {{{modification-time(...)}}} or {{{time()}}}

(And yes, this will be documented...)

This seems to work for me:

#+DATE:  %Y-%m-%d

And might be a nice addition to the FAQ on Worg.

All the best,
Tom
