Hi Kostya! I am still pretty new to emacs and org-mode, but from what I have read until now... Could you use the tag hook to automatically assign the :tech: tag along with :firefox: and|or :emacs: etc... This is still not exactly what you wished afaics, but it may make things a little more convenient.
