But chances are high that most "normal" LaTeX documents will not work with xelatex anyways due to encoding or font selection issues, so I think unless org-mode aims at explicitely supporting XeTeX out of the box this whole topic can (and should) be ignored. Btw. current microtype does not support current luatex as well AFAIK, but that can be ignored too. Yours Karsten
