Subject: 'documentation.org' now being required

I have just updated my packages using the paradox package manager and
then restarted emacs. And these were the packages that were updated -
org-special-block-extras, binder, clojure-mode, helm, magit, esxml,
org-ref, fountain-mode, link-hint, org=ql, org-cliplink, perspective,
projectile, pyvenv, restart-emacs, smartparens, treemacs, transient,
w3m.
Every org-mode buffer now requires it to have a 'documentation.org' file
to being its folder before 'imenu' will run and show in the taskbar.
And then I got this message in the minibuffer, 'Current desktop was not
loaded from a file. Overwrite this desktop file? (y or n)' for 906
times!
How can I get emacs to not require 'documentation.org' in all my
org-mode folders please? And for emacs to behave itself again please.
Thanks
Sharon.
