Hi,

I execute in  kubuntu 22.04:

> git clone https://git.savannah.gnu.org/git/emacs/org-mode.git
> cd org-mode
> make autoloads

and get the messages:

It seems like the file org-version is missing.

Thanks for reporting!
However, I am unable to reproduce the issue on my side.
Could you please check what is your Emacs version?

I tested using Emacs 27.2 on Gentoo Linux using your exact steps.
Still unable to reproduce.

You are right. I just updated the link in
https://git.sr.ht/~bzg/worg/commit/bf2d9967abf582b5dd34dfaca830988c0a308c87
