Thanks for the explanation.
I also cross-checked with the examples given in
https://ctan.org/pkg/bibtex - all consistent.

Maybe org-cite-csl-sentence-case-english-titles?

Also, it would be nice to point out the CSL and Bibtex have different
conventions for the title field.
