Hi
I am again facing the problem that org-capture hangs even with my
recovered old setting.
I investigated it a bit, org-capture is mostly ok, but not for those
templates that contain gnus specific commands like %from %subject etc
How can I debug this?

I'd try to debug-on-entry in org-store-link
