The following code used to include the sitemap and a search box in my
published index.html page:

Missing colons probably:

#+INCLUDE: sitemap-generated.org

And there seems to be a bug in the easy template code in org.el:
line 11390 says

    ("I" "#+INCLUDE %file ?"

and it seems to be missing the colon.
