this is, what I do to activate flyspell, and it doesn't cause any
problems here:


   (add-hook 'text-mode-hook 'turn-on-flyspell)
   (add-hook 'org-mode-hook 'turn-on-flyspell)
   (add-hook 'message-mode-hook 'turn-on-flyspell)


Keeps it simple...
