For instance one that just consists of the two lines (the second line is empty): * Test I hit C-c C-e and choose "l". The process starts, but then hangs. In Emacs I see the first time I try it: "Loading tabify...done" and then nothing happens, I have to quit. The second time I try it I only get: "Exporting to LaTeX...", again everything hangs. The problem is caused by setting case-fold-search to nil: init.el being empty and custom.el just consisting of: (custom-set-variables '(case-fold-search nil)) leads to the problem. Setting case-fold-search to t the problem disapears. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Emacs : GNU Emacs 22.2.1 (i486-pc-linux-gnu, X toolkit, Xaw3d scroll bars) of 2008-11-09 on raven, modified by Debian Package: Org-mode version 6.32trans current state: ============== (setq org-after-todo-state-change-hook '(org-clock-out-if-current) org-export-preprocess-hook '(org-export-blocks-preprocess) org-tab-first-hook '(org-hide-block-toggle-maybe) org-src-mode-hook '(org-src-mode-configure-edit-buffer) org-confirm-shell-link-function 'yes-or-no-p org-agenda-before-write-hook '(org-agenda-add-entry-text) org-cycle-hook '(org-cycle-hide-archived-subtrees org-cycle-hide-drawers org-cycle-show-empty-lines org-optimize-window-after-visibility-change) org-mode-hook '(#[nil "\300\301\302\303\304$\207" [org-add-hook change-major-mode-hook org-show-block-all append local] 5] ) org-confirm-elisp-link-function 'yes-or-no-p org-occur-hook '(org-first-headline-recenter) )
