Works fine here with
Org-mode version 7.4 (release_7.4)
GNU Emacs 23.2.1 (i486-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.20.0)
of 2010-12-11 on raven, modified by Debian
However: Setting meta-left to control-meta-left only works if I set
the variable before loading Org mode. If I set it after loading, it
doesn't, but the other disputed keys are replaced.
Looks like an inconsistency to me.
Best,
