Yes, you have different faces: `org-block-background' and face `org-block'. It's always better to have more than not enough. Up to you to customize them so that they look the same, if that's what you want. PS- Use `C-u C-x =3D' with point where you want to know which are the faces= in question. Then, M-x customize-face...
