In this case, instead of special link handling, I'd have used something which
already exists:

This file was exported on src_emacs-lisp{(format-time-string "%Y-%m-%d at %H:%m %p")}.

The answer to 2 + 3 is src_emacs-lisp{(+ 2 3)}.

Or is there a reason for doing it with links?
