I use a single .org file with the initialization code broken down into level-1 headings, possible with subheadings. This works very well, but I'd like to disable some sections that I don't need at the moment or to identify where most of the initialization time is spent. 1.) At first I tried to add the COMMENT keyword in a heading with "C-c ;", but without any effect. This would be the preferred option IMHO, since you get an easy visual feedback about which parts of the initialization are disabled. 2.) Then I tried adding the ":TANGLE: nil" property to a heading, but again without success. The starter kit probably adds something such as ":tangle org_file_name.el" to each source block thus overwriting the :TANGLE: property of the heading. 3.) At last, I tried to add ":tangle nil" to each individual source block I wanted to disable. This works, but because each heading can have many source blocks it is a lot of work to add this to each one (and remove later if I want to enable this configuration again). Is there an easy way to do this? If not, I'd like to suggest 1.) or 2.) as a feature request. -- Darlan
