Stephen, I didn't know about mu4e. I've played around with mu in the past and thought it was very cool but couldn't really work it into my daily workflow. mu4e seems to handle that. Are the directions at http://www.djcbsoftware.nl/code/mu/mu4e/Gmail-configuration.html really all it takes to get this running? If so, I'm definitely going to give it a whirl.
