Hi Carsten,

that surprises me.

AFAIU

(require

only loads a feature, if it's not present already.
As my distributed Emacs comes with an --basically empty--
org-install.el, which provides it (but does nothing in reality, then 
sending a "provide"), I'd be afraid its done here.
