Adding the following lines to my *.org file solved the issue.
#+LATEX_HEADER: \addtolength{\textwidth}{2in}
#+LATEX_HEADER: \addtolength{\hoffset}{-1in}
#+LATEX_HEADER: \addtolength{\voffset}{-1in}
