I believe you need to pass a string to =3Dorg-agenda-start-day=3D.

    (org-agenda-start-day "-7")

For this variable, =3Dorg-agenda-start-day=3D, give a link to the =
document of the function =3Dorg-read-date=3D would be great.  I had to =
read through the source code to understand it.
