C-c l (bound to org-store-link) in Gnus summary buffer will store the link but also has the side-effect of reading the article. This is quite distracting. .2. Opening gnus article link will prompt the user for how many articles to read, for example if a group has more than 200 (`gnus-large-ephemeral-newsgroup') articles.
