You might have this in .emacs: (setq load-path (cons "~/.emacs.d/src/org-mode/lisp" load-path)) (setq load-path (cons "~/.emacs.d/src/org-mode/contrib/lisp" load-path)) (require 'org-e-texinfo) (define-key org-mode-map (kbd "C-c e") 'org-export-dispatch) This is set up to use the texinfo back-end, but you might want org-e-latex, org-e-html, or one of the others. Then, when you want to export your Org document, use C-c e to see the menu choices available from the back-ends you've required.
