Hi Sebastian, hi Eric

take a look at the variable org-agenda-format-date. You can use a
simple format string like

(setq org-agenda-format-date "%Y-%m-%d
===========================================")

Or use spaced instead of ============== so that they can be
fontified like you suggest.

Or you can write your own function to do something fancier, maybe
based on
`org-agenda-format-date-aligned'.
