After discussing this with the use boomark+ (who dosent use org..go figure ;-)) he suggested i take this question to the orgmode list. Does anyone use/know how to bookmark orgmode ids and not just location in a file? i find that bookmarking locations is very un-reliable as i keep adding new content to my org files and the position of headers keep changing

is there any other alternatives people use to quickly jump to specific org files and locations?
