Cool, you're welcome. It is not the most convenient solution, but
keeping your tables in Editorial Markdown syntax should work:

#+BEGIN_EXPORT md
Cat | Fur   |
--- | ---   |
A   | A lot |
B   | None  |
#+END_EXPORT
