Firstly, take a look at 14.8.2.25 `:post` from the org manual, which provides an example of automatically wrapping a generated image with the necessary LaTeX attributes to correct the sizing. Secondly, there is a ditaa addons pack which enables you to generate eps. I've not tried this, but it might be worth a try. You have a c= ouple of options I believe.
