Hi, using XP and GNU Emacs 24.3.1 (i386-mingw-nt5.1.2600) of 2013-03-17 on MARVIN exporting from an utf-8 org file to a buffer unfortunately still fails, e.g. % Created 2013-08-08 Do 14:46 \documentclass[11pt]{article} \usepackage[utf8]{inputenc} \usepackage[T1]{fontenc} \usepackage{fixltx2e} \usepackage{graphicx} \usepackage{longtable} \usepackage{float} \usepackage{wrapfig} \usepackage[normalem]{ulem} \usepackage{textcomp} \usepackage{marvosym} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{latexsym} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amstext} \usepackage{hyperref} \tolerance=1000 \author{Jan-Mark Batke} \date{\today} \title{tmp} \hypersetup{ pdfkeywords={}, pdfsubject={}, pdfcreator={Emacs 24.3.1 (Org mode 8.0.7)}} \begin{document} \maketitle \tableofcontents öäü % Emacs 24.3.1 (Org mode 8.0.7) \end{document} but ascii coding of the buffer is latin-1. Accordingly, on linux the latin-1 file export fails. I am using the org-plus-contrib package now (8.0.7-2-gf51616-elpaplus).
