That's a symptom of a mixed installation.

How did you install Org?

I install via alt-x packag= e-list. My .emacs has orgm= ode.org and gnu listed as package source. I just deleted and installed = orgmode again and still having the issue.

- quit emacs

- launch emacs again and alt-x package-list

I get two different= versions of org-mode coming from the same location depending on if I enabl= e (require 'org-habit) in my .emacs or not. If I enable it, I get: Org-= mode version 7.9.3f (release_7.9.3f-17-g7524ef @ /Users/chris/.emacs.d/elpa= /org-20140127/) and if I don't, I get: Org-mode version 8.2.5g (8.2.5g-= 7-gb2dce8-elpa @ /Users/chris/.emacs.d/elpa/org-20140127/)

Is this the underlying issue causing t= he problem? How can I get rid of this issue? Should I completely delete /Us= ers/chris/.emacs.d/elpa/ and install orgmode again?
