believe; but, seriously, you can do that too with EMACS and XAUTOMATION do:
apt-get install xautomation
(this will install xte I believe)

line per 3 seconds for a presentation/sing-along:
xterm -e watch -p -n3 "xte \"key n\" "
*** Again, you put the cursor on the EDIFF help window --"n" will go line
per line
