>=C2=A0 =C2=A0What are the recommended ways to abort org-= export-dispatch without

You cannot. That window acts similarly to transient, but simpler. You
can think of *Org Export Disipatcher* as an extended help for
read-char-exclusive.

Best,

=C2=A0Hi Ihor,

What do yo= u mean by "you cannot"?
I was expecting an answer like this:
=C2=A0 That's difficult to do, but the temporary buffer is genera= ted by the
=C2=A0 function `org-foo-bar'... you can try to make a co= py of
=C2=A0 `org-foo-bar' called `org-foo-bar-hacked-version', = add your own
=C2=A0 debugging functions to that copy - suggestion: the l= ines 42 and 99
=C2=A0 are good places for that - and then you can change= the function
=C2=A0 `org-plic-ploc', that is called by `org-export-= dispatch', to make it
=C2=A0 call `org-foo-bar-hacked-version' i= nstead of `org-foo-bar'...

One possible meaning of "you can= not" is:

=C2=A0 Org is NOT MEANT to be explored in that way, an= d this "is not meant
=C2=A0 to" is in a very strong sense. The= last time that a person gave
=C2=A0 technical information of that kind = in the mailing list was 4 or 5
=C2=A0 years ago, and we banished her fro= m the community and excommunicated
=C2=A0 her. Her name shall not be men= tioned.

Frustrated cheers =3D(,
