I think a global option would be useful because I mightn't know in advance whether I'd need slides for particular headings or not. I'm thinking of a use case where I have produced a long LaTeX article and have selected certain tags to do so, and I would build a beamer presentation to brief it out by adding a :briefing: tag to a subset of the exported article headings (so the beamer slides are more concise). Thanks for your reply. I think=A0a global option would be useful becau= se I mightn't know in advance whether I'd need slides for particula= r headings or not. I'm thinking of a use case where I have produced a l= ong LaTeX article and have selected certain tags to do so, and I=A0would bu= ild a beamer presentation to brief it out by adding a :briefing: tag to a s= ubset of the exported=A0article headings (so the beamer slides are more con= cise).

I've g= one through the beamer manual but haven't seen any way of doing
so. = =A0However, it was a cursory look so maybe you could check it out more
closely (the manual is >200 pages long...).

I wouldn't recomm= end allowframebreaks as a global option, in any case.
IMO, that leads to= sloppy slide design, but this *is* my opinion only!
There are times whe= re it is needed but it is generally better to be
conscious of needing it. =A0Just my two =A2...
