I've saved an elisp file with lines that call the buffers I like to open when Aquamacs starts. I call it using `M-x load-file` after emacs starts (I don't like keeping it in my init file). The file looks something like: (find-file "~/path/to/file1") (find-file "~/path/to/file2") (dired "~/path/to/directory") etc...
