I tried to install it as well using python-pip and the result was

daniel@martins:~$ pip install ical2org
Downloading/unpacking ical2org
  Downloading ical2org-1.2.tar.gz
  Running setup.py egg_info for package ical2org

    ImportError: No module named setuptools.command
