I'm using Debian unstable.  My texlive package is version 2009-8; the
current version in Debian unstable is 2009-11.

Some of the Google results go back quite a long time, e.g.,
http://tolstoy.newcastle.edu.au/R/help/04/12/9454.html.  I'm staying
with listings for now.
