The cut-and-paste operations consider whitespace to be part of an item. So if you cut a tree that ends with whitespace, that whitespace will be pasted back along with the tree. If you get extra whitespace at paste even though you did cut an entry without extra whitespace, I'd like to know about it and see an example. Thanks. - Carsten
