Subject: [Babel] Headers: variable in output file name?
Date: Fri, 02 Oct 2015 11:23:04 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <87pp0x8w07.fsf@hornfels.zedat.fu-berlin.de> (raw)

Hi,

I have

#+NAME: myplot
#+HEADER: :var type="A"
#+HEADER: :results output graphics
#+HEADER: :file test.pdf :exports both
#+BEGIN_SRC R
<some plot generating code with 'type' as an argument>
#+END_SRC
and call

#+CALL: myplot(type="A")
#+CALL: myplot(type="B")

but instead of getting 'test.pdf' in both cases, I would like to have
the type in the name of the output files, say,

A.pdf
B.pdf

Is there anyway to achieve this?

(I can in fact add the variable to the name of the output file within
the source block, but I wondered whether it is possible via the Babel
headers.)

Cheers,

Loris
