If it was by hand, take out whatever you added to your startup file, probably (require 'bbdb-loaddefs) or similar, and delete the bbdb directory. There might be other startup lines to remove if you integrated with gnus or something else. Do M-x occur RET bbdb RET to help you find everything. But the real question is /why/ would you want to delete BBDB?
