I didn't identify this possible change -- other ideas for new defaults are welcome, of course. I'm not sure about this one: since org-pretty-entities is nil by default, the default for org-use-sub-superscripts only affects the user when he toggle super- and subscript fontification with M-x org-toggle-pretty-entities RET -- or the default really a problem? I've slightly enhanced the documentation in this area, though. -- Bastien
